What Remains Selected for LA Shorts International Film Festival

Schoolhouse Pictures is proud to announce that What Remains has been officially selected to premiere at the 2026 LA Shorts International Film Festival.

The pilot episode, "The End," will make its world premiere on August 5, 2026, at 10:00 PM at the Laemmle NoHo 7 as part of the festival's official lineup.

For Schoolhouse Pictures, the selection marks another exciting milestone as the company continues expanding its slate of filmmaker-driven genre projects. What Remains blends intimate character drama with post-apocalyptic storytelling, exploring what survives after the world has already changed.

Even more meaningful, the premiere arrives exactly three years after the production's very first day of principal photography, making the festival debut a full-circle moment for everyone involved.

Schoolhouse Pictures served as a producing partner on the project and is proud to celebrate the incredible work of the entire cast and crew.

Congratulations to directors Sami Bass and Hannah Ratty, the talented creative team, and everyone who helped bring the project to life.
