Schoolhouse Pictures Launches Premium Vertical Division with Original Series RHYTHM
LOS ANGELES, CA | Schoolhouse Pictures has officially announced the launch of Schoolhouse Vertical, the company's new premium vertical storytelling division, with its debut original series, RHYTHM.
As vertical entertainment continues to evolve, RHYTHM represents Schoolhouse Pictures' commitment to bringing feature-quality filmmaking, experienced talent, and emotionally driven storytelling to the format.
A Premium Vertical Series
Rather than approaching vertical storytelling as disposable content, RHYTHM was developed with the philosophy of an independent feature film, emphasizing cinematic photography, nuanced performances, original music, and character-first writing.
The series explores what happens when artists chasing success begin confusing performance with identity, where friendship, ambition, romance, and online visibility collide.
Inspired as much by today's creator economy as classic backstage dramas like Almost Famous, RHYTHM aims to help redefine what premium vertical storytelling can become.
Cast
The ensemble brings together talent from feature films, television, reality competition, and the music industry.
Dia Frampton (The Voice, Meg & Dia) stars in the series, bringing her acclaimed career as both a recording artist and actress. Frampton first gained national attention as a finalist on NBC's The Voice before continuing her music career with the indie rock band Meg & Dia.
Geraldine Moreno (The Traitors Season 1) joins the cast following her breakout appearance on Peacock's hit reality competition series.
Jason Avalos (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Quantum Leap) stars in the series while also serving as creator and producer through Schoolhouse Pictures.
